Description

The Executive Project Manager responsibilities include working closely with our internal team to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects. The Executive Project Manager will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, such as maintaining project documentation. To succeed in this role, the Executive Project Manager should have excellent time management and communication skills, as they’ll collaborate with various internal teams (and potentially clients) to deliver exceptional results on extremely tight deadlines. The Executive Project Manager’s duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.

He/she will need to have project management experience for managing tasks and tracking performance.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Determining project changes.
  • Providing administrative support as needed.
  • Undertaking project tasks as required.
  • Developing project strategies.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
Requirements

CAPABILITIES/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field of study and three years’ experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Must be able to analyze information, identify solutions, and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated excellence in organization, planning, problem-solving, decision making, communication, project management, and effective management of resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse customer, colleague, and vendor population.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Google Drive including Notes, Sheets, Slides, and Gmail.
  • Creative thought, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Team orientation and strong collaborator.
  • Peer leadership and influence.
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
